VA Offers Magstim TMS Therapy to Veterans

Department of Veterans Affairs Working with Magstim to Provide TMS Therapy to Veterans Suffering from Major Depressive Disorder

The RAND Center for Military Health Policy Research found that 300,000 Veterans who served in Afghanistan and Iraq suffer from Major Depressive Disorder or Posttraumatic Disorder. To help these Veterans who have failed to show improvement from prior antidepressant medication, the Veterans Affairs has awarded a contract to Magstim to offer TMS Therapy, a non-invasive alternative with few side effects.

A recent article released by PR Newswire discusses the partnership and offers a statement from Magstim's CEO.
